Easy Peasy Table

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile I just haven't been able to complete a project. I have about five projects started, just none of them are coming together.

I did get this little table finished because it was an easy project.

This is what the little table looked like when I first got it. The only repair I had to do was glue one of the legs. Someone had glued it in the past using hot glue and of course that didn't hold.

I applied one coat of DIY white chalk paint and let it rest overnight. I mix chalk paint using 2/3 paint, 1/3 Plaster of Paris, and a little bit of water.

I applied two coats of Valspar acrylic Robin's Egg Blue, then finished it off with one coat of wipe on poly.

This is one of the easiest projects I've worked on in a long time.

One reason I haven't completed projects lately is because of the heat. I do most of my major paint projects outside and the heat has been unbearable.

In between projects I have been playing on the computer. I found a blog, funkyjunkinteriors, with blog tips and I learned how to sign my post with a digital signature.

The following are some signatures I have experimented with. I could play with them all day. As usual, something that I thought would be hard to do turned out to be easy and fun.
